This site is an exploration of the guitars I have owned loved and often lost over the 30 years that I have been playing. You will find no expensive classic American models here, just a motley selection of ordinary guitars which have served me over the years. Only one of these guitars was bought new. The others came from friends, relatives, car boot sales or the dusty pre-owned corner of the shop. One of them was built from an old school piano. Most have been modified, repaired, cleaned up or adjusted by myself. Why Wired Wood? Most guitars made of wood with wires on and often inside, them. Many modern acoustic guitars actually contain more electronics than electric guitars, so even nylon-strung guitars can be described as "Wired wood"
